Our man on the race track: Marvin Fritz

After an extended break from racing due to Corona, the opening race of the Motorcycle Endurance World Championship (EWC) took place in Le Mans, France, on 12 June. In pole position, thanks to a unique time of 1:35 min in final practice, Marvin Fritz threw himself into the duel for first place in the second stint. Unfortunately, due to an engine failure, his dream of a podium finish was shattered. For the pole and the partial results, the YART team receives 14 points and thus currently ranks 10th in the world championship. Nevertheless, Fritz and team owner Kainz are optimistic. Fritz: "We were very fast the whole race week without a crash, took pole position and showed with the leadership fight that we can crack world champion Suzuki." We are looking forward to the next race in July in Estoril/Portugal and keep our fingers crossed.
