Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Data Networking

Independent market observations and research with focus on the development of new business opportunities
Definition of the business strategy for the market to be served in consultation with management
Definition of products or product portfolios (Data Networking, etc.) for the market to be served
Develop and implement methods and instruments for successful customer management
Understand, evaluate and apply new, innovative strategy and innovation concepts
Support in the acquisition, development and coordination of customer inquiries and projects
Acquisition, support and expansion of the customer base and merchant relationships in Germany
Support of OEM customers (telecommunications)
Development of customer areas in Europe and initially also independent support
Preparation of potential, business and competition analyses
Special tasks as specified by the management

Engineering degree (University or Technical College) or Business Administration degree with prior technical knowledge (or comparable education)
Experience in Business Development and Sales
Very good communication skills, distinct intercultural understanding (Europe, Japan) and a high service-oriented way of thinking and working
Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills, as well as commitment and flexibility
Very good language skills in English (German skills would be an advantage)
Knowledge in the following areas would be advantageous but is not mandatory: electrical data transmission e.g. 112Gbps-PAM4; market knowledge: Data Center I/O connectivity, transport and metro networks of telecomunication; understanding of the interface: Opto-electrical pluggable transceiver modules e.g.: CFP2, OSFP, QSFP-DD
