Our machine park has been complemented by our new Escomatic D5 Twin lathe for some time now. The wire is supplied as ring material and, unlike our other lathes, the workpiece does not rotate, but the tools rotate around the workpiece for processing. Thanks to two identical counter spindles, three workpieces can be machined simultaneously. This means that significantly more contacts can be produced in the same time. In addition, the Esco saves space and resources – since thinner material is used, less machining is required.
